Real name: Dawn Edwards

Leo born Dawn Edwards is known in Guyana as the lady with the Powerful voice. Started off singing Gospel where she consistently rocked the house with a high level of proficiency and energy and was a regular feature at gospel concerts especially those organized by the Church of the Nazarene. Though the physical energy is not as prevalent as those days her achievements and recognition have certainly gone up. She won several amateur singing competitions and placed 2nd in a jingle competition sponsored by the Ministry of Health on the topic of HIV/Aids in 2003. In 2010 she placed 3rd on a song competition on the same topic sponsored by the Ministry of Health. Dawn made an unlikely transition from R&B to Calypso, where it was thought to be an unwise move, but since then she has chalked up 3 third places and one 4th in the National Senior Calypso Competition held in February as one of the main features for Mashramani, thus making her the most consistent female calypsonian in the last 6 years, where she is highly regarded as having a great voice. She is featured on the SSignal Productions lovers’ rock album HIGHER LEVEL that is being sold at over 400 digital retail stores in 100 countries including iTunes, Amazon.com and Spotify and is featured on the SSignal Productions Album of Guyanese National Songs
