Oscar Fredriks Kammarkör from Gothenburg, Sweden, consists of about 30 singers and is a non-profit association affiliated with Oscar Fredrik's congregation. The choir is led by Jakob Bergman, organist.
Under Jakob Bergman's leadership, a number of new acquaintances from music history have complemented the choir's already previously broad repertoire. The choir has also intensified its song-technical work.
Among the choir's favorites in the a capella repertoire are Bach, Palestrina, Messiaen, Poulenc, Whitacre and Sandström. Driving classics such as Mozart's Requiem and the Christmas Oratory are complemented by contemporary compositions by Ola Gjeilo, Javier Busto and Karl Jenkins.
