Glenn & Gloria

Members: Roland Toepfer, Sigrun Krüger

Swedish Chanson duo, formed in 1970 by Roland "Glenn" Toepfer and Sigrun "Gloria" Krüger.

The group consisted of Roland Toepfer and Sigrun Krüger.

They had met for the first time already in the early 1960s at the Peter Mynde pub in Stockholm, but they saw each other again in connection with Toepfer having an engagement at Ambassadeur in Stockholm. This led to the formation of Glenn & Gloria; Krüger left his employment at Dagens Nyheter and became a full-time musician. The duo appeared in Hyland's corner and recorded the music album Svart på vitt (1971, Telefunken SLE 14601), after which a number of performances in folk parks and restaurants followed. They later released the EP The Golden Days (1975). The duo was active at least until 1978.
