Tony Sierra
Real name: Manuel Antonio Sierra
Composer, singer, politician, Honduran.He was born in Puerto Cortés on June 13, 1948. He was a member of the musical groups "Los Jets" in 1966, "Grupo Speed" from 1967 to 1975. Director of the Rondalla de Medicina in 1972, Director of the "Alta Sociedad" group in 1982. Author of well-known songs internationally such as "Remembrance", "Hermano hispanoamericano", "Que fácil es", winners of the OTI festivals in 1979 and 1988. He wrote the song "Mensajero del amor" which was performed by Moises Canelo to give Welcome to Pope John Paul II.
