Real name: Edward Green

Early 1900s songwriter and vaudeville performer. He later became an actor, comedian, film director and studio owner. One of his best known songs is "A Good Man Is Hard to Find", published and first offered for sale as a piano roll in the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, on 12th December 1918. Until today there are more than 150 known cover version of this song.
