Engineer usually associated with Adrian Belew.
Evens was studying at the Conservatory of Recording Arts And Sciences in Phoenix around 1993 when he interned with Adrian Belew (first albums with him were The Acoustic Adrian Belew and Here). He became Belew's in-house engineer and relocated to Nashville when Belew moved there.
