Gudrun Elizabeth Kabisch was born 7. April 1901 in Berlin, Germany and died 1. October 1955 in the age of 54 years in Berkeley, Alameda, Kalifornien, USA. She was the first wife of Paul Dessau. During the Nazi era in Europe, she used the pseudonym Karl Ernst.
