Composer & musician born as Péter Hegedűs in Hungary. Studied at the Hungarian Academy of Music, then became a member of Spions. He left Hungary in 1978 for Paris, France, where he recorded his debut solo album in Autumn 1980 at Pathé Marconi Studios, Boulogne. (It has lyrics written by Malcolm McLaren on more than half of the tracks.) Ogi later moved to London, UK, and then to New York, USA, working on numerous musical projects, e.g. Brilliant or The OGI.
