Please note that for recordings older than 1987, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman should be entered separately with ANV's, even if the credit appears as "Wendy & Lisa" (usually on Prince And The Revolution and Prince releases).

The childhood friends, both from musical families, became members of Prince's band and appeared in the movies "Purple Rain" & "Under The Cherry Moon". After Prince disbanded The Revolution they formed in 1987 the duo Wendy & Lisa and built up a second foothold by writing/recording music for various film & TV productions like NBC's "Heroes", or Showtime’s "Nurse Jackie".
