Allan Mamaril
A music-industry veteran for 20+ years, Allan Mamaril is an artist, producer, and label executive. He currently is the founder and managing director of the M88 Entertainment Group - an agency specializing in artist development, release marketing and digital distribution.
Growing up in Windsor, ON, Allan Mamaril was a fixture in the Windsor/Detroit music scene. As the lead singer of Detroit ska-punk band, The Exception, Allan would help his high-school friend Richie Hawtin and his business partner John Acquaviva launch the now infamous, Plus 8 Records,. While Richie moved into DJ/Producer territory, Allan moved to the UK to pursue his own music career. First as the lead singer and guitarist in the Reading-based band Sahara, then moving on to music executive positions at Virgin Records UK, hmv Canada, Puretracks Digital Canada, Entertainment One (formerly CD Plus / ROW Entertainment), and digital music marketing firm, Click Strategic, before starting the M88 Entertainment Group in 2015, working directly with a number of globally prominent musical artists and DJs, as well as independent and emerging artists of all genres.
