Not to be confused with the British engineers Mike Stone and Mike Stone (2).

American engineer and producer Mike D. Stone (10/24/1949 – 12/3/2017) was the nephew of Chris Stone (8) of the Record Plant. Former chief engineer at Record Plant, Los Angeles (1985-1988), he engineered among others for Bee Gees, Joe Walsh, Frank Zappa, America (2), and B.B. King. Later worked as music mixer for films (staff mixer at Lorimar Studios / Sony Pictures Studios 06/1989-03/1993).
