Mauney Twins
Real name: Ernest and Miles Mauney
Pianists Ernest and Miles Mauney were from North Carolina, and studied at Juilliard and Oberlin. Both studied with Mme. Vengerova who was on the faculty of Curtis. In the 1950s they traveled the US with twin Steinways and gave recitals in almost every state. Miles is on the left in this photo....!
