"The name of the band is taken from a line in their song "Shlomi - an empty group": "Because when I look into myself / I see an empty group". The song, by the way, was recorded in its first version in 1987, when Korin Elal sang and played it in her final project at the sound technician school "Sound" by Yoav Gera and was released as part of the students vinyl compilation. after several performances in Jerusalem, recording themselves on tape, which was played a little on Galey Tzahal (IDF Radio), the band went down to a concert in Tel Aviv, to which the record companies were invited. At the end of the first performance in Tel Aviv, representatives of the various record companies were waiting for them at the front of the stage, in order to sign them to a contract. The band chose the company "N.M.C." which guaranteed the most creative freedom. In 1995, the band recorded its debut album, "Empty Group". In 1996, shortly after the release of the album, the band ceased its activities, although it did not announce its disbandment.
