H1 displays an idea of pop music that came together through years of living, long rounds of editing, re-amping, sending files to friends, a vista of San Francisco and walks on the outskirts of Cologne. The songs could appear in blazing sunlight, empty rooms or city nights. On the sleeves of the 330 records, acrylic colors flow together and congeal in a clear plastic mass.
