B°TONG is Chris Sigdell, former member of German experimental industrial group NID (1995 - 2005) and lead-singer, bass-player in doom-band Leaden Fumes.
As a solo artist he melts the boundaries between ambient electronic music and musique concréte.

Since the 2005 inception of B°TONG, Chris has toured 23 countries all over the world, performed at such diverse and renown festivals as: Norberg Festivalen, Les Digitales, Audio Art Festival, AUM Festival, Bruitisme, Temple Of Silence, PNEM Sound Art Festival, Kildemose Festivalen, Støy På Landet , Lab30, Shiftand more - all the while releasing acclaimed albums on genre-specific labels.

B°TONG is signed to Hots (Spain), Reverse Alignment (Sweden) and Silken Tofu (Belgium).
