Spanish songwriter. He wrote more than 700 songs while working as a reporter of newspaper "El Mundo"; many of them were quite successful being performed by the outstanding world-known singers, such as Marta Sánchez or Thomas Anders. Also adapter of foreign songs to Spanish.
He also wrote songs for the Spanish participants of Eurovision, for Pedro Almodovar's movies and for TV-serials.
Carlos Toro is also a deep connoisseur of music and sports, an officer of the General Society of Authors and Editors (SGAE), a writer of a Charles Aznavour's biography and memoirs about famous band "Dúo Dinámico. On duty". He is also a researcher on football topics: "Caldera de pasiones [The boiler of passions]".
