Born in Brooklyn NYC and started his career as an engineer and A/V editor, who later moved to Italy in 1990 to collaborate with Ricky Trauma at live gigs and started record producing in 1992. His recording career as a hyper techno rapper began when approached by Alberto Contini and Andrea Leonardi asking if he would like to collaborate on a Bulldozer (2) EP named Dance Got Sick! Trilogy, originally under the name Dr. D.O.P.E. until signing to Delta (2) in 1996, changing his stage name to Butch Battleaxe.
