Coïtus Int. was a Dutch band from Utrecht from 1978 till 1992.

The band made records in house. The debut album Dead Excitement E.P. from 1980 has some up-tempo punk songs. The album Coïtus Int. from 1981 was a bit slower influenced by Joy Division. The album Sex for the Wealthy (1985) was called no wave by the American glossy Spin. Rules For Making Love And Babies (1991) was the final album by the band. In 2010 the French label Infrastition distributed the CD 1980-1982, mostly material from Dead Excitement, Coitus Int. and some of the band Local Negatives. In 2011 New York's label Bunkerpop Records made a reissue of the EP Dead Excitement on vinyl (7") with the original cover design. In 2014 Desire Records made a reissue of Sex for the Wealthy.
