Zimbabwean musician, composer and guitarist, fondly known as Tuku, hence his style of music becoming known as Tuku music. Came to fame with hit single Dzandimomotera in 1977 with the band Wagon Wheels which also had Thomas Mapfumo as a member.Was made cavaliere of the Order of Merit by the Italian government and was goodwill ambassador for the UN's children's fund. Died of complications from diabetes.
