Format-440 is a British musician from Guildford. Heavily inspired by funk, electro, boogie and disco, he has incorporated elements of these genres into synthwave, creating a uniquely fun and always danceable blend.

Forever cooking up something funky in the studio, Format-440 upon an arsenal of vintage hardware synthesizers and drum machines. His productions have an authentically old-school sound; evoking memories of the club scene of yesteryear.

He released his debut EP Interfaces in 2015, followed by two albums, Tomorrow’s Technology and Digital After Dark in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Digital After Dark is due to be issued on vinyl LP for the first time end 2018 by Dutch label Urban Road Records.
