Lázaro Valdés
Real name: Lázaro Oscar Valdés Espinosa
(Born: 17 December 1940 - Died: 1 January 2023) was an Cuban jazz pianist, played with several big bands in the 1950s and 1960s, Director of Son Jazz and other jazz groups. He was an Egrem recording artist.Son of Oscar Valdés, brother of Oscar Valdés, and father of Lázaro Valdés Jr. (b.1965) who is also a pianist (and leader of Bamboleo).
