Blues singer, born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, September 23, 1934, died in Reno, Nevada, April 22, 1990.Active in Detroit during the 1950s, in the early 1960s moving to Los Angeles where he started recording in 1963. A minor hit with "Dirty Work Going On" in 1966 led to further singles for Checker and Jewel, and in the 1970s and 1980s albums for small labels.
