Olga Bardina

Soviet operatic soprano. Born Dec. 23, 1932, in the city of Karshi. People’s Artist of the USSR (1978). Bardina graduated from the history department of the University of Tashkent in 1954 and from the Tashkent Conservatory. She became a soloist with the opera theaters in Tashkent and Ufa in 1959 and with the Saratov Theater of Opera and Ballet in 1962.
