Real name: Dan Forte

Guitarist, producer, guitar collector and music journalist, now based in Kyle, Texas.
Originally from northern California, Forte relocated to Austin, Texas in 1987. He has written for a number of guitar magazines and performs as a surf rock guitarist under the name Teisco Del Rey. In 1983, he toured with the original Ventures, subbing for Don Wilson on rhythm guitar, and in 2010 he played rhythm guitar with Duane Eddy at Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans.
