Danish folk band based in Aarhus playing traditional Irish music. Not to be confused with the Irish Moving Cloud.
Moving Cloud was formed in 1988 in the Irish folk music environment around Færgekroen in Aarhus, and has existed with various line-ups - with Svend Kjeldsen as the continuous figure from day one. The line-up with Pilkington, Vangsgaard, Vester and Kjeldsen was established in 1998. Moving Cloud released three albums: Cuckanandy (2002), Sweet Nyaa (2005), and Welcome: Who are you? (2008). Afterwards Vester moved to Tønder (South Jutland), Kjeldsen moved to Ireland - and Pilkington and Vangsgaard formed a new Irish band, Tradish, with percussionist Brian Woetmann.
