Bruno Robilliard

French pianist and composer, born December 23, 1963 in Antibes.
Student at the Lyon Conservatory then, at 14, at the CNSMD in Paris (Piano Classes by Germaine Mounier, and Chamber Music by Geneviève Joy-Dutilleux), Bruno Robilliard receives the First Prizes for piano and chamber music.
From 1984, he held a position as an accompanist at the CNSM of Lyon in classes violin by J. Gesthem, V. Rénald, P. Csaba, E. Balmat and flute by Maxence Larrieu. Following which he taught chamber music at the CNR in Lyon, before to take charge of the deciphering class at the CNSMD in Lyon in 1994 and to see award the certificate of Aptitude for piano teacher.
At the same time, he leads a brilliant concert career as a soloist, improviser or chamber musician in France and abroad. It led him, among other things, to be a musician at the Tokyo National Orchestra, within the Lyon Opera under the direction of Kent Nagano or the Orchester National de Lyon under the baton of David Robertson. He also collaborates with Studios du Grame and is invited by numerous festivals such as those of Pollenco, Orne, Dombes, Vieux Lyon, Radio FranceMontpellier.
Bruno Robilliard is also a chamber music partner of the Quartet Debussy, of the Ravel Quartet, and numerous soloists... and he collaborates regularly
with the Lyon National Orchestra. He has, among other things, recorded, as a world premiere, “The Marquise and the Marseillaise - Hélène de Montgeroult” published by Hortus which received 4 stars “Le Monde de la Musique” and 5 “Diapason”.
Since 2009, Bruno Robilliard has also been a pianist with the Des Équilibres ensemble.
