Born in Italy, 1956.
Joins the Lucerne Konservatorium at the age of 13 as a pupil of Hubert Harry.
Gets his teacher's diploma in 1975, his soloist's diploma with distinction in 1978. In the same year, he wins the Edwin Fischer Memorial Price. Makes radio programmes and recordings and gives concerts with the Lucerne Musical Society and the "Festival Strings" Chamber Orchestra (Lucerne). He also performs during the Lucerne International Music Festival.
