Fantomi were a Croatian rockabilly, rock n roll revival band.

In 1988 Robert Marekovic co-founded the Voodoo Cats which played rock n roll inspired material.

After the band Voodoo Cats broke up, Fantomi was founded in Zagreb in 1988 by Krešimir Mišak (guitar), Danko Stefanović (bass) and Robert Mareković (vocals), and shortly thereafter joined by Bruno Perović (drums) and Bruno Gracin (guitar).

Fantomi broke through and had national hits in 1990 with a 50s inspired sound and look. The Croatian Homeland War slowed the band down but they subsequently went on to release more albums before Marekovic left the band in 1994.

In 2005 Marekovic gathered the band Fantomi for a short while, so as to give two performances and record a single after 11 years, which was called Stari saxofon and appeared on the compilation album – Fantomi – Zlatna kolekcija (Golden collection).

They have played together occasionally since then.
