Real name: Zoe Parenteau

American songwriter, born June 26, 1914, died July 12, 1990, married to Alex Kramer. Owned Southside Records with her husband. Popular melodies she wrote include “High on a Windy Hill,” “Candy,” “It All Comes Back to Me Now,” and “It’s Love, Love, Love.” She began as a singer on Broadway, including for two seasons in “The Great Waltz,” and appeared with Leo Reisman And His Orchestra and Will Osborne And His Orchestra.
