Caroline Duris

French pianist, composer, electronic musician, art educator, music advisor and film piano coach (b. 1969); sister of a famous actor Romain Duris. Caroline studied piano at Conservatoire National Supérieur De Musique Et De Danse De Paris and musicology at Université Paris-Sorbonne. She played all piano parts and trained starring actors, including her brother, for Jacques Audiard's drama The Beat That My Heart Skipped (2005) and served as a piano coach for Michael Haneke's Amour (2012). Duris collaborated with other filmmakers, including Diane Bertrand, Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe and Bruno Chiche. In 2016, Duris composed the soundtrack for Vincent Maury's short film Minh Tâm.

Since the mid-2000s, Caroline Duris has been producing experimental electronic music, regularly performing as a DJ at local venues and praised by the French music press, including Trax (9) and TSUGI magazines. She toured Germany, Spain, UK and Belgium and appeared on Biologic Records and Atomic Soda, both under her real name and Metatechno alias.
