Real name: Gayle Groff

Born 1945 in Bradenton, Florida, Groff connected with Tide through an agent named Tony Ensweiler. That resulted in her only released recording. She landed interviews in a couple of teen magazines but subsequently returned to the eastern U.S. where she did some additional touring before working as a radio DJ and settling in Massachusetts.
