Born 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
Younger sister of Darlene McCrea and some websites say they were one person--but they weren't. Cousin of Margaret Ross, who was also in The Cookies.
Her "I'm into Somethin' Good" hit #21 in 1964 on the U.S. charts. Later that year in Britain, a cover version of the song by Herman's Hermits topped the charts.
