Real name: Kamala Lyn Parks

American musician and writer based in California. She was a drummer for bands like Kamala And The Karnivores, Cringer, Naked Aggression, The Gr’ups, etc. but she was also one of the key people in starting the 924 Gilman Street Project; the punk rock DIY venue in Berkeley. She was also involved with the magazine Maximum Rocknroll. Frequently credited as just Kamala and sometimes Kamala Parks.
