Romanian composer and Pianist, born 27th May 1947 in Bucharest, died 11th January 2011. Married to Șerban Nichifor. Studied between 1965 and 1971 at the Bucharest Conservatory and 1983 in the USA. Her works consist of Cantatas, Chorales, Chamber music, Orchestra pieces and Operas. She lectured as a Professor for Composition, Orchestration and Musical Analysis at the National University of Music in Bucharest.
