Sir Bourbon Dixieland Band is a jazz band from Gothenburg, Sweden founded in the early eighties. The band has since participated in several major jazz festivals in Sweden, among others. Askersund, Årjäng, Kungsbacka, Kungshamn, Ronneby and of course Gothenburg. For a decade they were the Göta Kanalbolaget band on their jazz cruises in the Bohuslän archipelago. In the spring of 1997 the band could be heard at the great jazz festival "Jazz in Duketown" in s`Hertogenbuch, Holland. They have also visited jazz clubs abrouad. In May 2000 and 2003, we were invited to the jazz festival in Dresden.
