Yusuke Uchiyama

Real name: 内山雄介

NO MILK is a Japanese house music producer, DJ and product planner for Nextbeat. He studied electronic engineering at a university in Tokyo, where he was introduced to and eventually influenced by the sounds of YMO, Kraftwerk, Ken Ishii, Chicago House & Detroit Techno. It was also during this time that he discovered Tokyo’s eclectic and vibrant club scene. His sense of sound was further developed through his experiences at legendary clubs such as Maniac Love, Yellow, Liquid Room, and LOOP (to name a few).
No Milk started producing dance music in 1996, using toys such as synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, effecters, etc. In order to keep music a central part of his life, he has taken an unusual career path, which included working as a printer repair man, radio program M.A., club event P.A., sound recording assistant, and product specialist of ProTools and Digidesign. No Milk now works as a product planner for Wacom, and DJs at clubs and events throughout Japan and the world.
