Spurge was an alternative rock band from 1991 to 1998, originally based in Billings, Montana. They later relocated to Portland, Oregon. The group released three albums and two 7" singles during its existence.

In 2009, they digitally reissued their three albums along with a brand new fourth release (a collection of their appearances on compilations, an early-90s 7" single, and their unreleased demos.)
