Tom Wells
Real name: James Thomas Wells
American songwriter and producer who has composed theme songs and scores for television shows and films, most notably the main theme to WKRP In Cincinnati, but also Harper Valley USA, Buffalo Bill, HBO Comedy Playhouse, We've Got It Made, and others. He has also written jingles for Goodyear, McDonalds, Dodge, Nissan, Vivitar, and Delta Air Lines. He has recorded vocal artists including Kenny Rogers, Roy Clark, Kim Carnes, Johnny Russell, Elvin Bishop and Al Jarreau. Often associated with publisher Fast Fade Music. Owner of the label Doppler and Doppler Studios located in Atlanta, GA.1941-2012
