The Constellations

Effective period / Period of releases: 1968 - 1972

Members: Charles Collins, Frank Floyd, Bernard Reed, Bobby Earl Williams

The Constellations were originally from Chicago, then went to New York (which is where the Gemini Star recordings were done), then became Dionne Warwick's backing group and released two singles on her Sonday label. Supposedly they were super talented showmen. Members on the Gemini Star recordings were Frankie Floyd, Zach Sanders, Bobby Earl Williams. Floyd and Williams had solo 45s on IX Chains, Sanders later sang in the Writers on Columbia.
