Danish 50's to 60's choir led by Svend Saaby. The foundation for the choir was laid in 1942 when Saaby formed Weekend-hyttens Kor for the radio show "Weekendhytten". This choir in 1949 became the Danish national public service broadcaster's popular music choir as Statsradiofoniens Underholdningskor and from 1959 named Danmarks Radios Underholdningskor. Svend Saaby Koret consisted of members from this choir.
