Swedish music group from Hälsingland. The musical roots can be found in Swedish folk music.

The group was formed in 1985. Lasse Berghagen renamed them Östen mä Resten at one point. Östen med Resten became nationally known when they were allowed to lead SVT's café program from Sundsvall in the early 1990s.

The group has participated in the Melodifestivalen in 2002 and 2003 where they performed the songs Hon kommer med solsken[2] and Maria.[3] They also performed in the 2006 edition of Melodifestivalen with the song Ge mig en kaka till kaffet, written by Thomas G:son.

The members are Jens Kristensen, Östen Eriksson, Staffan Lindfors and Gunnar Morén.

Previous members have been Nisse Damberg (violin), Peppe Lindholm (drums), Tord Nyman (drums) and Bengan Janson (accordion).
