Swimming keeps it's head above water by conjuring mathy, Midwestern-emo vibes, all the way from the eastern reaches of Canada. Expect angular drums and noodly guitar riffage from this twinkling trio, complete with yearning lyrics & breakdowns. Their debut LP, That’s OK, was released in October 2021 in partnership with Chillwavve Records. In addition to taking home MusicNL’s 2022 Alternative Artist of the Year award, Swimming been featured in editorial playlists from Spotify and Apple Music and received critical acclaim from Exclaim!, Uproxx and New Feeling, among other prominent music platforms.
