German vocal ensemble, founded by Botho Lucas in 1950 with guitarist Günter Vogel and bassist Horst Schwarm. They often played in Berlin and for RIAS Berlin. In 1951, the formation changed: Arno Goßrau took over the guitar and the later cellist Hans Berthold took over the bass. In this composition, the Lucas trio recorded its greatest successes. With the death of Goßlau 1955 the ensemble abandonned.
