American writer and poet, born: December 6, 1886 - died: July 30, 1918. Married with Aline Murray Kilmer.Mainly remembered for a short poem titled "Trees" (1913), which was published in the collection Trees and Other Poems in 1914.
In 1922, Oscar Rasbach setted the musical composition of Trees.
