Swedish jazz/progressive rock group.

Opus III played at the first Gärdesfesten in 1970 and the same year recorded the album Opus III & Friends, which contains long jazz-accented instrumental pieces with some progressive vocal elements. The friends mentioned in the album's title were guest vocalists Björn Skifs, Ted Åström, Janne Önnerud, Bruno Wintzell and producer Claes af Geijerstam, who appeared under pseudonyms. The album also featured Björn J: son Lindh and Johannes Olsson, the latter from Ola and the Janglers.
