John Taylor

Real name: John Issac Taylor

US songwriter who had been a saxophone player with his own big bands in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Co-wrote the song "Boy From New York City" along with George Davis for the The Ad Libs, a vocal group from Bayonne, NJ. Taylor figured heavily in the Ad Libs' later success. Owner of the label Johnnie Boy Records.
