Mr. Downchild
Blues musician & harmonica player, born & raised in London, England, and later based in the Cleveland, Ohio, USA area.
As a child, he was exposed to the Blues by his parents, while growing up in London. Initially pursued a successful acting career. Later, after hearing some of his blues idols, the likes of Robert Lockwood Jr.., Sonny Boy Williamson, and many others, then set aside his acting career to become a blues harmonica sideman & bandleader. In Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Downchild was closely influenced and mentored by Robert Lockwood Jr. and by Robert's long-time harmonica player Wallace Coleman.
