Real name: Cherif Hamani

Born in the spring of 1956 in the town of Aït Mahmoud, in the region of Aït Douala (Kabylia), Cherif Hamani is a Kabyle author, composer and performer.
In 1974 that he revealed himself for the first time to the general public by participating to the program of Belhanafi and Acherouf Yidir devoted to amateur singers and young talents on the Kabyle channel of the radio of Algiers. In 1972-73, he assiduously went to the conservatory of Algiers which allowed him to meet all the big names of Kabylo-Chaâbi singers...
