Real name: Estelle Axton nee Stewart

American record executive.
Sister of Jim Stewart, mother of Charles Axton.
With her brother, she co-founded Satellite in 1959, renamed Stax in 1961 (Stewart - Axton).
She sold her interest in the company in 1970 and formed Fretone.
She was the founder of the Memphis Songwriters Association in 1973.
