Romerium is Rene Montfoort from the Hague, Netherlands. He begun writing music from his early age and was (and still is) interested in mystic, romantic and emotional synthesizer soundscapes. Fantasy, imagery and emotion are the components that run as a firm thread through his music. He is using both hardware and software synthesizers. Some of his favourite software synthesizers are the HG Fortune and the Rob Papen. As he says: "I'm creating musical paintings of environments and situations, most of landscapes, architecture and human believings.I'm writing, playing, and producing all my electronic music."
Romerium is a member of "EM Force", an allience of musicians making quality electronic music.
